| The Dragon War hasn't been raging long yet, but has caused plenty of damage. Holders live in fear of their homes getting ruined by the dragon's flames, while the riders and the dragons themselves fear their own death. With Pesuth getting ready to Rise again and Bayranth sitting a new clutch, things are especially edgy. A war between dragons, brought on simply by a few riders stealing some eggs and starting their own Weyr. Fort Weyr, which has been around for Turns and has many more dragons, or High Reaches, which is fresh with its seven dragons and the occasional rider who abandons Fort to join this new Weyr. Who's side will you be on? |

This is a Battle Ground near Fort Weyr, pocked by flaming from dragons. Many have died here that weren't riders at all...seeing as there used to be a Hold here.

A horribly desolated lake located almost exaclty between the two Weyrs, the war has had bad effects on it in a very short time. With all the foilage burned away, the water has become nastily brown and undrinkable. There are a few bodies littering the water as well...of a few riders that died and fell off before their dragons betweened.

These fields, near High Reaches, used to be very fertile...but due to the war they are completely charred and nothing will grow here anymore. There is a small hill that used to be wooded that is now petrified as well.

in hidden in peace {Open} Hidden Meadow
A meadow of flowers that rests in a little dip on the back of a mountain near High Reaches Weyr. Mostly only riders know about this place, it's quite a hike to get to on foot.

A thick forest somewhat in the middle of the length between Fort and High Reaches Weyrs. A wide river cuts through its center and before the war, it was a popular place for Holders to fish. Although fighting rarely takes place here, they are still afraid to go somewhere so potentially open.

in A Moment Away {Open} Secluded Lake
A pleasant lake, near Fort Weyr, that is very secluded. The only real way to get to it is to fly a-dragonback, otherwise it's a very steep hike and climb to get to it with only the small stream off the lake to guide you to it. The lake is always a very moderate temperature.

A large cave near Fort Weyr, its main opening is in the side of a cliff, but there are tunnels that go to the top of the cliff, which lets natural light into some parts of the cave.
