.:Overview:. The Dragon War hasn't been raging long yet, but has caused plenty of damage. Holders live in fear of their homes getting ruined by the dragon's flames, while the riders and the dragons themselves fear their own death. With Pesuth getting ready to Rise again and Bayranth sitting a new clutch, things are especially edgy. A war between dragons, brought on simply by a few riders stealing some eggs and starting their own Weyr. Fort Weyr, which has been around for Turns and has many more dragons, or High Reaches, which is fresh with its seven dragons and the occasional rider who abandons Fort to join this new Weyr. Who's side will you be on? General Rules

1. The normal rules of RPing - no god-moding, power-playing, chatspeak, etc. If you have any questions about it ask an Admin.

2. Here, there is no post minimum...but if you know you are not going to be able to post for a while (like a week or so) then post in Absences so we know you are still here! Otherwise, you have a limit of about three RL weeks of inactivity before your Characters go up for Adoption. Remember, Quality beats Quantity.

3. Yes, females can Impress Browns and Blues occasionally. XD

4. New Colors? Yes.

5. Please try to keep profanity out of your posts. :3 Pernese have their own curses and you can use those instead.

6. Respect the other players, this is a newbie friendly site. Help them out! If an Admin sees any disrespect, you will be warned.

7. Characters must be accepted BEFORE you role-play with them. That means, do not RP with a character until they are moved to Accepted Characters.

8. Male dragons, such as Bronzes, are not Kings. The clutching females like Golds are Queens though. 

9. Keep posts PG-13 and under unless they are in the Adult RP section, then keep it tasteful! Ask an Admin for the Adult RP password.

10. Please read the Site Specific Rules!

11. Please know what DRoP is. XD

Fire-lizard Rules

1. No character can have more than six fire-lizards altogether. No more than three of these can be females or baby fire-lizards. 

2. You cannot create Gold or White fire-lizards, they must be Impressed. That is unless you have Express permission from the Admins.

3. Fire-lizards reach their full size after two real-time weeks. At that point, they are no longer counted as babies.

4. Male fire-lizards can Chase after two seasons- check the calendar.

5.Green and female White fire-lizards can Fly after three seasons- check the calendar. Golds can Fly after four seasons/one Turn. Note that fire-lizards fly the most in summer and very rarely in winter.

6. You do not need to message an admin for permission for fire-lizards to Rise, but you will need to afterwards to see how much and what they clutch. Keep spacing of Flights within reason, if your female seems to be rising too much, an admin will put a stop to it.

7. Remember to play your fire-lizards too! If your character gets a new one and we don't see it played, we will give you warnings and eventually have to assume it was left to die or set into the wild.

Candidate Rules

1. Candidates can be between 12 and 22 Turns in age. Outside of that range they can have a Stands Impression, but it isn't likely. 

2. To Candidates, the Candidatemaster's word is law. If they disobey, punishments will be to his or her whim. 

3. Candidates will have a list of chores to do every day. You do not need to role-play these, but mention that your character has done them every once and a while.

4. Candidates are recommended to not get into any intense relationships. If they Impress, they had better be ready to break out of any of them very quickly. 

Weyrling Rules

1. Weyrlings can not have any sexual relationships of any kind. This is for the safety of them and their dragons. 

2. To Weyrlings, the Weyrlingmaster's word is law. If they disobey him or her, punishments will follow the Weyrlingmaster's whim. 

3. Weyrlings must attend all Weyrling Lessons, whether they already have the skill or not. 

4. Weyrlings remain Weyrlings for two Turns, then they can try to graduate.

5. You cannot just create a Weyrling. You must create a Candidate and see if he/she Impresses, or adopt leftover NPC's from an rped clutch.

HAD Rules

1. A HAD is someone who can 'hear all dragons'. Usually only the rider of a dragon and other dragons can hear it, but these people can hear everything any dragon says. 

2. Both admins must accept a HAD, and be warned that Sparrow is very strict.

3. A HAD must have an exceptional application. We will not be accepting many either, so even if you make a really good one, we might have to put it on standby. 

4. HAD's can only be female. We aren't tryinig to be prejudiced against boys, but they were only female in the DRoP books, so they will only be female here.
